Elisabeth Carlisle is an American singer-songwriter from Santa Cruz, California. She is known for her poignant lyrics and distinguished melodies. Her ballads can cut to the heart, and her coastal California roots bring energy and good Americana rock to her shows. Her bandmates from Sweden bring their years of professional experience from performing with artists like Jill Johnson, The Liberators, Charlie Musselwhite, The Men and The Harmony Aviators. 

Elisabeth Carlisle’s debut album, No Worries, with Paul McCartney's guitarist, Rusty Anderson, featured on "Some Things," was released in 1998. It was followed by a tour schedule that included shows with the Goo Goo Dolls, Tonic, Stacey Earle, Duke Robillard and Meredith Brooks. No Worries enjoyed success on the 90’s web site mp3.com with over 60,000 hits to her music. Following No Worries Elisabeth moved to Sweden to work as a musician.

While living in Sweden Elisabeth began to work with Swedish producer Amir Aly and the band was formed with musicians Pelle Jernryd, Thomas Holst, Mattias Pedersen, Göran Engstrom, Amir Aly, and Carl-Alberto Bettini for her second CD, Roll with the Flow,  released in 2004. Her band performed at Sweden’s Peace and Love Festival, as well as taking a California tour which included LA’s Viper Room and Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz.

The band added bassist Jörgen Larsson-Lindström in 2010.

Elisabeth Carlisle EP, was released with four new songs in 2011. In 2018 she released her single "Beyond These Walls" followed by a tour with the band through Montana, Utah and California.  Two new singles, "Never Let Go" and "The Great Divide," were co-written with Amir Aly and Swedish country artist Cicci Landen in 2023, followed by The Copper Trail Tour through Montana down to California. Both singles have had regular airplay on radio in Sweden and California. The band will kick of 2024 with a show at Medley in Malmö, Sweden on March 28th.
